Location

Set in the idyllic town of Moliets, within easy walking distance of the Moliets Golf Course, Summer France Villas Club Royal Aquitaine offer guests a wealth of outdoor activities and facilities to enjoy. The tranquil Landes forest provides a serene backdrop, while the glistening seas of the Atlantic are also close by.

The nearby ocean, lakes and golf courses provide plenty of activities for families, couples and groups of friends, while there is lots to be explored in the local towns and villages dotted throughout this popular area of southern France. Bordeaux is just a short drive away and the Spanish city of San Sebastian provides an interesting change of culture.

The villas

Providing guests with a stunning backdrop, plenty of opportunities to relax and a fantastic range of activities, the Villas Club Royal Aquitaine are ideally situated. Modern and airy, the villas provide bright open spaces that make the most of the glorious sunshine this area often receives. The interiors are tastefully decorated in a modern French style, and the pretty gardens are the perfect place to simply relax and unwind.

The villas sleep from six to 10 people and offer guests a comfortable lounge area and fully equipped kitchen, as well as a terrace for al fresco dining. For the ultimate summer holiday, each accommodation provides a private swimming pool to cool down in and sheltered decking area to top up your tan.

Each villa offers a private unheated pool, opened from April depending on weather and closed in October.

Board options

The Villas Club Royal Aquitaine are all self-catered, with a fully equipped kitchen in each. Guests can make their own dishes using ingredients from the local markets and shops in the towns of the surrounding area, or head to the supermarket which is just 5km away. For dining out, there is a fantastic selection of French and international restaurants available within walking distance of the residence. One taste of the local 'moules mariniere' and you'll relax straight into holiday mode!

Moliets

The centre of Moliets presents a variety of shops, bars and restaurants, with plenty of opportunities to explore its stunning landscapes as well. The pine forests which hug the town are filled with tranquil spots, cycling and hiking trails, while the town also sits directly on the beaches of the Atlantic. Those wanting to explore the local area will find Bordeaux just under two hours away, ideal for culture and history lovers as well as foodies and wine fans. The Landes Natural Park is also nearby and offers plenty of outdoor activities.

Activities

Spend your days relaxing on the soft golden sands of the beach, building sandcastles and swimming in the Bay of Biscay, or take part in the many water sports on offer here. Activities include sailing and windsurfing, or head out to sea for a fishing trip. Families will love the surf school, with classes and lessons for surfers of all ages and abilities and the huge bay providing the perfect conditions.

Moliets golf course is within walking distance of the Villas Club Royal Aquitaine, and provides 18 holes against a picture perfect backdrop. Guests of Summer France can also enjoy preferential green fees for 9 or 27 holes. The Huchet River is worth a visit too; running between Leon Lake and the Atlantic Ocean and home to stunning flora and fauna and some interesting species of birds. History and culture lovers will enjoy a visit to the Saint Laurent de Maa chapel, which is tucked away in the heart of the Landes forest and dates back to the 12th century. Golf & Tennis

Moliets is a major destination for golfers. Ranked among the 10 best golf courses in France, the Moliets Golf Club is one of the most beautiful golf courses in Europe. Its position on the edge of the ocean makes it an outstanding location. The desired handicap for the 18-hole course is less than 36 and several holes are links style. Every Sunday during the season there are free introductory lessons for children aged 6 and over.

Things to see

Families will enjoy a day out at the Adrenaline Parc where visitors of all ages can whiz down the zip wire, climb and swing through the trees and practice their balancing acts.

Visit Zen'n'Surf and learn how to surf, practice yoga and enjoy a Balinese massage - well deserved after a few hours spent learning how to balance on the board.

Hop over the border to Spain and book yourself on to a guided tour of San Sebastian. The knowledgeable guides will take you through the sites of the city, providing interesting insider information, and pointing you in the direction of the best tapas bars at the end.

Late arrival (after 8 pm)

Please inform the reception or the reservations centre in advance and we will advise you of the late arrival procedure.

Key collection

Check in is from 5 pm onwards. The keys are available at the reception on presentation of your accommodation voucher

Deposit

On arrival you have to pay a deposit of 1 000 euros (Visa, Euro Card, French Cheque) for your villa. This will be returned to you within 15 days of your departure assuming there are no charges for breakages or additional cleaning.

Cleaning

End of Stay Cleaning is not included in the accommodation price and clients are required to clean the property before departure. Please note that cleaning products are not always provided.

Payment conditions

Summer France offers 3 options for payment:

1) Pay in 3 instalments: 10% deposit at the time of booking, 10% two months before the date of arrival and the remaining balance one month before the date of arrival. This method of payment is only available for bookings made by telephone more than 70 days before the stay.
2) Pay in two instalments: 10% deposit at the time of booking and payment of the remaining balance 30 days before the date of arrival. This method of payment is only available when the booking is made more than 31 days before the arrival date.
3) Pay in 1 instalment: pay the full amount at the time of booking and receive a discount of 15 GBP on the overall price of the stay. This method of payment is valid for stays of 7 nights or more, booked more than 40 days before arrival and for a minimum purchase of 150 GBP.

- Any extras added more than 30 days prior to arrival will be added to the final payment
- Any extras added after the final payment to be paid at the time of addition to booking.
-If the booking was made under the 'non refundable' terms, the total amount will be debited at the time of the booking (the discount of 15 GBP is not available on these prices).

Methods of payment accepted:
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, cheques*, holiday vouchers*.
*(only for reservations made more than a month before arrival).
For payments desired by cheque or holiday vouchers the deposit must be paid by way of debit/credit card - Visa, Mastercard, American Express and the second and/or third payment can be made by cheque or holiday voucher.
Arrival date less than 40 days: The total amount of the booking must be paid in full online, by debit/credit card at the time of booking.

Cancellation conditions

1) If you choose Standard Conditions
If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be retained:
-More than 30 days before the date of arrival: 30% of the price of the holiday
-Between 30 days and 21 days before arrival: 45% of the price of the holiday
-Between 20 days and 8 days before arrival: 60% of the price of the holiday
-Between 7 days and 4 days before arrival: 90% of the price of the holiday
-Less than 3 days before arrival: 100% of the price of the holiday

2) If you choose Non Refundable Conditions
As part of the low price non-refundable offer, in the case of a cancellation you will be invoiced for the total amount at any time
