Moliets

The seaside town of Moliets offers visitors a range of shops, restaurants, café and attractions, with plenty to do whether you are looking to relax or try something more high energy. On the Landes coastline where there are stunning beaches and miles of natural parks, pretty towns and villages, Moliets offers the chance to explore the great French outdoors. Head into the Landes forest on foot or by bike, or wander through the surrounding countryside. Bordeaux is just under two hours away from the Résidence du Golf, and offers a further selection of restaurants, bars and cafés as well as nightlife. Alternatively, take the short car journey to Leon Lake and admire its natural surroundings.

Activities

Summer France Résidence du Golf is located on one of the best golf courses in France, Golf Club Moliets, where guests can take in the stunning Atlantic coastline and the tranquil Landes forest as they tee off among the pine trees. Surrounded by both the sea and the forest, there is plenty to be explored, both on foot and bike. (Good addresses to do sports: L'Ecole de Surf Du Golf, Velo du Golf, Naeco Stand Up Paddle, Club, Golf Club Moliets.) The Adrenaline Parc is ideal for families, with courses and ropes between the trees providing an active day out, while for something exciting, Moliets beach is a fantastic place to learn to surf, located in the huge Bay of Biscay, and a surf school offering tuition and equipment rental. Guests can also hire a gondolier to take them down the Courant d'Huchet, which goes from Leon Lake to the shores of the Atlantic, where you can finish with a picnic and fine bottle of wine at sunset.

Golf & Tennis

Moliets is a major destination for golfers. Ranked among the 10 best golf courses in France, the Moliets Golf Club is one of the most beautiful golf courses in Europe. Its position on the edge of the ocean makes it an outstanding location. The desired handicap for the 18-hole course is less than 36 and several holes are links style. Every Sunday during the season there are free introductory lessons for children aged 6 and over.

Things to see / Not to miss

Head into Bordeaux, which is just a two hour car journey away, and pick up some delicious local wines and French delicacies, as well as visiting the markets, shops and boutiques.
Spend the morning at Leon market picking up fresh local produce before watching the world go by in one of the many street side cafés.
Visit Spain, just a hop over the border, and you can be in San Sebastian within an hour and a half, where you can pull up a chair and experience some of the spectacular tapas that's being awarded Michelin stars left, right and centre!

Payment conditions

Summer France offers 3 options for payment:

1) Pay in 3 instalments: 10% deposit at the time of booking, 10% two months before the date of arrival and the remaining balance one month before the date of arrival. This method of payment is only available for bookings made by telephone more than 70 days before the stay.
2) Pay in two instalments: 10% deposit at the time of booking and payment of the remaining balance 30 days before the date of arrival. This method of payment is only available when the booking is made more than 31 days before the arrival date.
3) Pay in 1 instalment: pay the full amount at the time of booking and receive a discount of 15 GBP on the overall price of the stay. This method of payment is valid for stays of 7 nights or more, booked more than 40 days before arrival and for a minimum purchase of 150 GBP.

- Any extras added more than 30 days prior to arrival will be added to the final payment
- Any extras added after the final payment to be paid at the time of addition to booking.
-If the booking was made under the 'non refundable' terms, the total amount will be debited at the time of the booking (the discount of 15 GBP is not available on these prices).

Methods of payment accepted:
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, cheques*, holiday vouchers*.
*(only for reservations made more than a month before arrival).
For payments desired by cheque or holiday vouchers the deposit must be paid by way of debit/credit card - Visa, Mastercard, American Express and the second and/or third payment can be made by cheque or holiday voucher.
Arrival date less than 40 days: The total amount of the booking must be paid in full online, by debit/credit card at the time of booking.

Cancellation conditions

- If you choose Standard Conditions

If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be retained:
-More than 30 days before the date of arrival: 30% of the price of the holiday
-Between 30 days and 21 days before arrival: 45% of the price of the holiday
-Between 20 days and 8 days before arrival: 60% of the price of the holiday
-Between 7 days and 4 days before arrival: 90% of the price of the holiday
-Less than 3 days before arrival: 100% of the price of the holiday

- If you choose Free Cancellation Conditions

If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be retained:
-More than 30 days before the arrival date: repayment of the deposit
-Between 30 days and the date of arrival: 100% of the total price will be retained.
-No show: the total price of the reservation will be retained

- If you choose Non Refundable Conditions

As part of the low price non-refundable offer, in the case of a cancellation you will be invoiced for the total amount at any time
