Location

Found on the fringes of one of France's best golf courses, Les Appartements de Moliets is the ideal place to simply relax on your holidays. The Landes Forest can be found behind the residence, while the Atlantic Ocean is to the front, making it the ideal place for nature lovers, with plenty of opportunities to explore the beautiful landscape.

Located in the Aquitaine region in the south of France along the Atlantic coast, the apartments and cottages offer the best of both worlds, with plenty of chances to simply relax as well as a huge range of activities on offer. The Parc Naturel Regional des Landes de Gascoigne is close by, and the city of Bordeaux is just under two hours away by car, while the Spanish city of San Sebastian is an hour and a half away, giving you plenty of day-trip opportunities.

The apartments and houses

Each of the apartments is tastefully decorated inside and out, to make the most of the gorgeous weather in the south of France. All of the apartments have views over the golf course, which is lined by pine trees and lush green woods, making the most of the natural surroundings. There is a large outdoor swimming pool for guests to enjoy, with a surrounding terrace offering deck chairs and sun loungers.

The apartments all have access to the quiet gardens of the residences, which are home to flowers and palm trees to meander through. Guests can also enjoy free Wi-Fi in the reception of La Residence du Golf, as well as laundry facilities. The residences themselves all have a balcony with garden furniture and views over the surrounding area, as well as a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, hobs, microwave, fridge and a dishwasher.

Board options

Each of the apartments and cottages at Les Appartements de Moliets come with their own fully equipped kitchen where guests can prepare their own dishes and enjoy a self-catered holiday. There is furniture on the balconies for those wanting to dine al fresco, and a traditional bakery and butchers within walking distance of the residence (3-3.5km), as well as a Super U supermarket 5km away. For eating out there is a fantastic selection of restaurants nearby, serving delicious French cuisine, some international dishes and plenty of fresh seafood.

The swimming pool is open without French government guidelines.

Things to see

Whether you're using a car or local public transport, a trip to San Sebastian in Spain is a must. Just an hour and a half from Les Appartements de Moliets you'll find yourselves admiring the beautiful harbour and delicious change of cuisine.

For history and culture, the town of Dax is just a 45 minute drive away and offers pretty historic sights and buildings as well as shops selling local handicrafts and cafés ideal for people watching.

Visit the Chapel of St Laurent du Maâ, which is located just five minutes away by car. This pretty 12th century building provides a fascinating insight into the Templars.

Moliets

There is a range of shops, bars and restaurants available in Moliets, with stunning natural surroundings, the beautiful Atlantic Ocean and plenty to be explored further afield. Explore the pine forests on foot or by bike, simply taking in the calm tranquillity, or head to the beach for a day of relaxing on the soft golden sands of the beach.

Further afield Bordeaux is just under two hours away and is the perfect place for a day trip, with a fantastic selection of fine wines, as well as stunning local delicacies and plenty of bars and restaurants. This is also the place to go if you're looking to try a little of France's laid-back nightlife, with open bars and live music on offer in Bordeaux. The Parc Naturel Regional des Landes de Gascogne is also within an hour's drive away and provides some excellent activities, including kayaking on the river.

Activities

Spend your days relaxing on the soft sands of the beach or wandering through the peaceful pine forests during your stay here. There are plenty of opportunities to relax, as well as a huge range of activities to enjoy. Families will enjoy walking along the coast, stopping off for a picnic of crusty French bread from the boulangerie and cold meats from the boucherie charcuterie as well as delicious local wines. Alternatively, older children and adults looking for something more energetic will enjoy the many water sports on offer here, including sailing, wind surfing and jet skiing (Good addresses to do sports: L'Ecole de Surf Du Golf, Velo du Golf, Naeco Stand Up Paddle, Club, Golf Club Moliets.)

Animal lovers can try horse riding, while keen cyclists can rent bikes or bring their own and make the most of the many trails to be found in the area. For something more relaxing, admire the scenery from the golf course and work on that swing during your stay. With the 17th hole just minutes away, keen putters won't have to spend much time away from the course. Guests of Summer France can also enjoy preferential green fees for 9 or 27 holes.

Late arrival (after 8 pm)

Please inform the reception or the reservations centre in advance and we will advise you of the late arrival procedure.

Key collection

Check in is from 5 pm onwards. The keys are available at the reception on presentation of your accommodation voucher. Full time on-site staff are available for at least 6 hours a day.

Deposit

On arrival you have to pay a deposit of 400Eu for your apartment or holiday home (Visa, Euro Card, French Cheque). This will be returned to you within 15 days of your departure assuming there are no charges for breakages or additional cleaning.

Payment conditions

Summer France offers 3 options for payment:

1) Pay in 3 instalments if booked more than 60 days prior to arrival:
- 15% deposit at time of booking, 15% payment 60 days prior to arrival & 70% payment 30 days prior to arrival

2) Pay in 2 instalments if booked more than 30 days prior to arrival:
- 30% deposit at time of booking & 70% payment 30 days prior to arrival

3) Pay in 1 payment (always available and obligatory if booked less than 30 days prior to arrival)
- 100% at time of booking

Additional Extras:
- Any extras added more than 30 days prior to arrival will be added to final payment
- Any extras added after final payment to be paid at time of addition to booking

Cancellation conditions

- If you choose Standard Conditions

If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be retained:
-More than 30 days before the date of arrival: 30% of the price of the holiday
-Between 30 days and 21 days before arrival: 45% of the price of the holiday
-Between 20 days and 8 days before arrival: 60% of the price of the holiday
-Between 7 days and 4 days before arrival: 90% of the price of the holiday
-Less than 3 days before arrival: 100% of the price of the holiday

- If you choose Free Cancellation Conditions

If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be retained:
-More than 30 days before the arrival date: repayment of the deposit
-Between 30 days and the date of arrival: 100% of the total price will be retained.
-No show: the total price of the reservation will be retained

- If you choose Non Refundable Conditions

As part of the low price non-refundable offer, in the case of a cancellation you will be invoiced for the total amount at any time
