The Résidence le Village des Aloès enjoys a stunning location in the foothills of the Pyrenean Mountains of southern France, 10 km from France's border with Spain. This picture perfect property is in the heart of the Mediterranean coastal village of Aloès; a place with an old-fashioned atmosphere and quaint, rural scenery.

The town is home to a picturesque pebble beach which is 300 metres from the property, as well as modern facilities such as shops and restaurants which are just a short walk from the residence. As well as having close proximity to the nearby services, this property also has easy access to the neighbouring towns and cities of southern France, with the SNCF train line just 200 metres away.

The apartments

Each of the apartments in the Résidence le Village des Aloès is spacious and stylishly decorated, with a private balcony or terrace complete with garden furniture. The apartments are well equipped with a modern kitchenette, cosy living room and comfortable bedrooms.

The apartments boast plenty of space for relaxation and recreational activity, with two tennis courts, ping-pong tables and a swimming pool (opened from mid April until the begining of October depending on the weather). From the outside, the apartments are neatly built in a classic style which fits in perfectly with the peaceful village setting. Due to the property's short distance from the marine reserve of Bayuls, most of the apartments have stunning ocean views and guests can enjoy the relaxing sun and sea all throughout the summer.

All apartments come with: - Fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and dishwasher except some apartments.
- Comfortable living room

The marine resort of Banyuls is well known for being a scuba diving haven, thanks to its clear, warm waters and the abundance of underwater life around the coast. Banyuls is a south facing-resort in the south of France close to Spain, which guarantees great weather almost all year round. There are also popular pebble beaches dotted around Banyuls, with the best ones located between 300 and 500 metres from the resort.

The majority of activities on offer in Banyuls revolve around its beautiful coastline. Banyuls is best known for its scuba diving opportunities, with keen divers coming from far and wide to experience all that this area's shores have to offer. Whether you are an experienced diver or brand new to this fun water sport, you will be sure to find the perfect excursion for you in the diving centres around the resort which cater to all levels.

Fishing and sailing around the busy marina are also great ways to get to know Banyuls, while visitors who would rather stick to dry land can enjoy walking or cycling through the acacia plantations, olive groves and prickly pear trees which are scattered across the landscape.

Things to see / not to miss

Along with its scuba diving facilities, Banyuls is especially well known for its wine production. The vineyards and wineries of the resort are must-sees, with guided tours available.

In the streets of nearby Cape Osne, you will find an ancient Roman oppidum called Puig del Mas which is popular with keen sightseers and history buffs alike.

Tourists with an eye for art should visit the Maillol Museum, which houses the most famous works of the famed painter, Aristide Maillol.

The local aquarium is a great choice for family days out, displaying a colourful variety of marine life and coral.
