Location

Located 50km from the beaches, and situated next to the Saint-Cassien lake, the residence Les Bastides de Fayence is perched in the gorgeous village of Tourrettes. This small village is centered around the clock square, with little cobbled streets leading off to brasseries and tabacs.

A clifftop village of the Pays de Fayence, Tourrettes offers charming holidays of walking and exploring the local area. Take in the views of the Maures and Esterel mountains, and for exploring further afield, the villages of Fayence, Callian, and Seillans make for charming days out - and the village of Seillans is reputed to be France's prettiest village!

Accommodation

The accommodation at Les Bastides de Fayence consists of spacious semi-detached cottages of varying sizes, sleeping two to eight people. The residence has a swimming pool open from May to the end of September (depending on weather conditions).

The houses at Les Bastides de Fayence are self-catered, including a kitchen with a fridge, oven, hob, microwave, and coffee machine. High chairs for babies can be rented during your stay as well.

The village is small, so shops are fairly limited, however, for families willing to eat as the locals do, there are delicious local delicacies to be found at the nearby shops. There is a Super U supermarket in Fayence, just a few minutes from Tourrettes.

Activities

Make no mistake, Tourrettes is not a lively destination. Water parks, shopping malls and restaurant chains are just not seen in this area of France, however, if what you enjoy is peaceful holidaying with plenty of walking, and beautiful sights to see, peppered with delicious rustic meals al fresco, and pretty villages to visit nearby, this is a lovely destination.

As well as visiting the nearby villages, Tourrettes offers open markets. In Fayence (1km), market days are Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The caves of Saint-Cezaire are just 9km away and offer a fascinating insight into our underworld, and the Jardin de la Villa Fort de France is a beautiful garden to visit, just 18km from Tourrettes.

Things not to miss

Children will enjoy the aquarium at Marineland d'Antibes, which is 34km from Tourrettes. The park looks after penguins, polar bears and sea lions, plus watch sand tiger sharks, grey sharks, nurse sharks and stingrays in shark tunnel and look at starfish, king crabs, clown fish, moray eels and many more in the aquariums.

The Parc Zoologique de Frejus is 17km from Tourrettes, and looks after tigers, lions, kangaroos, elephants, monkeys and hippos and more to meet.

Late Arrival (after 8pm)

Please inform the reception or the reservations centre in advance and we will advise you of the late arrival procedure.

Key Collection

Check in is from 5pm onwards. The keys are available at the reception on presentation of your voucher

Deposit

Upon arrival, you have to pay a deposit of 300Eu (Visa, Mastercard, French Cheque) for your property.

Cleaning

End of Stay Cleaning is not included in the accommodation price and clients are required to clean the property before departure. Please note that cleaning products are not always provided.

An End of Stay Cleaning deposit will be taken upon arrival which will be returned along with your Damage Deposit.

Payment Conditions

Madame Vacances offers 3 options for payment:

1) Pay in 3 instalments if booked more than 60 days prior to arrival:
- 15% deposit at time of booking, 15% payment 60 days prior to arrival & 70% payment 30 days prior to arrival

2) Pay in 2 instalments if booked more than 30 days prior to arrival:
- 30% deposit at time of booking & 70% payment 30 days prior to arrival

3) Pay in 1 payment (always available and obligatory if booked less than 30 days prior to arrival)
- 100% at time of booking

Additional Extras:
- Any extras added more than 30 days prior to arrival will be added to final payment
- Any extras added after final payment to be paid at time of addition to booking

Cancellation Conditions

- If you choose Standard Conditions

If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be retained:
-More than 30 days before the date of arrival: 30% of the price of the holiday
-Between 30 days and 21 days before arrival: 45% of the price of the holiday
-Between 20 days and 8 days before arrival: 60% of the price of the holiday
-Between 7 days and 4 days before arrival: 90% of the price of the holiday
-Less than 3 days before arrival: 100% of the price of the holiday

- If you choose Free Cancellation Conditions

If the client cancels a reservation the following amounts will be retained:
-More than 30 days before the arrival date: repayment of the deposit
-Between 30 days and the date of arrival: 100% of the total price will be retained.
-No show: the total price of the reservation will be retained

- If you choose Non Refundable Conditions

As part of the low price non-refundable offer, in the case of a cancellation you will be invoiced for the total amount at any time

By Car
Motorway A8
- Take exit 39 'Fayence-Les Adrets de l'Esterel" and go towards Fayence. Follow the D837 for 1.6 km and then the D37 for 7 km.
- At the first roundabout take the third exit towards Fayence/Draguignan, on the D562 for 5km.
- At the second roundabout take the exit on the left, "centre commercial Intermarché" and enter in 'Les Mercuriales".
- At the next roundabout take exit on the left and continue straight on. The entrance of the residence is 150m further, on the left hand side (black doorway).
